Class Descriptions for Classes Offered at NTA Taekwondo & Sports
Agility and conditioning are a part of every class. Children are not born coordinated; it is a learned trait just as walking
and talking. It is important for children to master balance and coordination by the age of 5 or they may have difficulty
reaching their full potential to do so. With Play For Sport children will work on balance, proper running form, and agility
in every class. They will also learn about their muscles and how they help them accomplish the many skills they will be
learning. Importance is placed upon nutrition, conditioning, and an active lifestyle as part of weekly discussions during
warm up and cool down periods.
As your child progresses with mental focus and physical abilities, they will move up to more advanced classes so they
may continue to enhance and master their sports skills and increase their overall knowledge of the various sports and
rules of the games.
